Same effect, I think its because in Gnome 2.26.1 it uses "color" to see
what tabs/files/folders etc.. is in focus (see attachment).. In Ubuntu
8.10 it used to use doted lines around the tab and now it uses
colors.

Yes, it keeps having the same issue.. Another annoying thing that I
found is that when there's a lot or few files in a folder in list view
you try to drag and drop one file, and the whole window turns pink.

How to reproduce this bug:
1. Have some files in a folder in list view
2. select all the files via ctrl + a
3. then try to unselect few files via ctrl + left mouse click
4. Outcome: it leave a pink highlighter in the unselected file.
But this is randomly...
nVidia driver 180.44 (GeForce 8800GTS)
