I confirm this.
Also the same happens with PTP camera, and therefore I think that this happens
for all 'emulated' mounts.

Same for me (10.04): each time I insert an audio CD, Disk Mounter applet
shows two identical icons, with different behaviour attached though.

I assume everyone who inserts an audio CD will observe this behaviour.
So forget about the Platten einbinden stuff (I have no idea what that
is, and I'm a German native speaker). I experience this behaviour with
any audio CD. Even though I think this to be a minor issue, it truly is
confusing. If
A additional tip about the both applets that show up seen at
'Bildschirmfoto-1.png:
After clicking on the icons the following options (icon an text)
appears:
LEFT: (play symbol) CD play
(eject symbol) Audio-CD eject
RIGHT: (folder symbol) Audio-CD open
( ) Audio-CD
After clicking on 'eject' on the RIGHT icon it disappears BUT nothing
happens.
The LEFT icon now says 'not mounted' and after again clicking 'eject'
the CD comes out!
BTW: I installed the system fresh three days ago so the bug is definitly
reproducable!
Could that be a problem of installing
It shows two CDs, one with the data and one with the audio files (with
multimedia CD).
that seems the normal behaviour for a multimedia CD, why do you think
it's wrong?

For me: 1 drive = 1 mounted disc
But nautilus askes if I will play the multimedia tracks or the audio

This leaves then the double mount of audio cds in nautilus and the

There are 2 (two) icons on the applet but only 1 (one) normal audio cd in the

No, Nautilus makes the same nonsense like the applet...
It shows two CDs, one with the data and one with the audio files (with

With an 'normal' audio CD is only one drive mounted.

So, today I report what happens when I insert a multimedia CD into my DVD drive:
As you can see on 'Bildschirmfoto5' the applet to mount and umount block
partitions shows me three (3!) drives (one icon CD in drive, two icons with
CDson it), in nautilus are there two (2) mounted CDs, one entitled
More strange things:
After mounting a audio CD I have two symbols for the cd.
Today I wanted to eject the CD, click on the right hand symbol (icon for CD)
and... - nothing happenend!
Second click on the left symbol (CD + drive) to eject the CD but a popup-window
said 'not mounted'
Now I'm
Okay. I will try it...
As you can see on the photo are beneath the Ubuntu-circle for the Gnome start
menu three more icons:
left for the trash can and right two for one(!) audio CD.
This is the applet for 'Platten einbinden' (Applet zum Einbinden und Aushängen
von Blockpartitionen).
