As the bug describes, it is just a matter of pushing the packagers to
update Serpentine to 0.7. Or you could just download and install
Serpentine 0.7 from the official website.

I'm the same - there are no useful errors anywhere. Just tested and
still get the error on Dapper Final.

I did read that bug pre-filing. I got the impression that those people
couldn't burn CDs at all. Serpentine works fine for me for all files but
this one that I have.

I have the same problem here. I am using the latest version of Dapper
(with Serpentine Version 0.6.91-0ubuntu3).
The console output gives no useful information, because the error it shows
occured before I clicked Write to Disc:

tried using gdb and trying to run or exec-file from there - that didn't
work. Where do I get the backtrace from? Asking for a backtrace from gdb told

You should run serpentine from a terminal and copy/paste the output that it
spews.
You only need to run gdb when serpentine crashes (ie. segfaults) and in this
case you need to run:
gdb python
# This enter a prompt
r /usr/bin/serpentine

Can you please check if you have the same issue as described in Bug #22501
That seems likely. Also, please provide a debug backtrace, and error messages
if any.
Please try to test this using the Dapper Beta packages.
