This bug is still marked as being present in xfsprogs. Has it been fixed
here, or are people still experiencing problems?

Ive the same problem:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo gparted
Error reading inode 9285.
Error reading inode 10230.
Error reading inode 10405.
Error reading inode 10660.
Error reading inode 10762.
Error reading inode 10763.
Error reading inode 10783.
Error reading inode 11091.
Error reading inode 11092.
Creating a link:
ln -s /dev/mapper/system-vol1 /dev/mapper/system-vol1p1
makes gparted work again. Parse error?

More info:
xfs_check fails on mounted partitions with this ugly messages. If
partition is umounted, xfs_check does what it should do, but gparted
still fails with message:
/dev/mapper/system-vol1p1: No such file or directory
fatal error -- couldn't initialize XFS library
glibmm-ERROR **:

I think this is xfsprogs problem. xfs_check /lvm/partition also returns:
fatal error -- couldn't initialize XFS library

I can confirm this. gparted doesn't work if one has XFS on LVM
partition.
