It would appear many have had the same bug problem accessing mail box.
The message also includes "data disk image is malformed"
Evolution has not been fully operational since I installed it. I have
trouble nominating an addressee when emailing. This problem was
previously reported and nothing even
Then why leave comments open to "random people thinking they have the
same bug" if that only creates more problems?

they have the same bug, it often turns that the issue look similar but
have different cause and mixing comments from different people make

Sebastian, I was answering to Pedro's question about whether this is
still valid in Jaunty. Since this is still an issue in Jaunty I took the
liberty to reopen the bug, as per the instruction in Pedro's comment.
On the one hand you're telling us not to open duplicates, on the other
you're telling
don't reopen close bugs only because you think you have a similar issue,
open a new one and mention this bug and let the bug triager figure if
that's really a duplicate
