I was unable to reproduce this behavior. I started RB, inserted an audio CD, and was able to play and rip it without incident. Unlike your report, though, I was using the default kernel (2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP). Can you reproduce this crash? -- rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in
