The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it

I also have this same problem. Running jaunty, latest updates. Ctrl-I
doesn't work, and I also have in Preferences, Mail Preferences, HTML
Messages, "Always load images from the Internet" as checked. Still no
images.

Yes I tried Ctrl-I and View-> load images and it did not help. Email
was saved and attached.
