The problem disappered with the latest Evolution version in Jaunty. The
duplicate folder disappeared. There still is another problem as now the default
Persönlichl Adress book is no longer duplicate and can be renamed. But after
a restart of evolution the name flips back to the default name
do you still get the issue?

which version were you using in debian? that's totally a corruption
between version and locales, you might want to delete your evolution
folder (~/.evolution) and start with a blank profile, i don't think
there's code to manage such issues. Backup your profile and try deleting
your profile, or

I cant remember exactly, it was in 2007. I think they were at version 2 already
when I switched.
