Public bug reported:

Affects: gnome-pilot (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
I can't sync my treo 650 on dapper drake, as in breezy (where it work
fine).

My analyse is that /dev/pilot not exist until i press the "hotsync"
button on the cradle.

When i do a lsusb in a normal state (i.e. when my treo is not in sync
mode) i saw this :

Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 046d:c50e Logitech, Inc. MX-1000 Cordless Mouse Receiver
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

When i press "hotsync", that's what i saw :

Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 046d:c50e Logitech, Inc. MX-1000 Cordless Mouse Receiver
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 013: ID 0830:0061 Palm, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

So, my palm is only recognized while it is in syncing... But it's to
late for gnome-pilot !

Excuse me for my poor english (I am french).
