Indeed, disabling Exchange plugin works :) Then I can just disable it when I
want to add an addressbook, and re-enable it after :)

could be the same issue than bug #39086 which has that comment:
"I just managed to work around the problem by disabling the plugin "Exchange
Operations" under "Edit" -> "Plugins". Now I can add address book again;
strange..."

Just a "me too". I can't seem to even add a "regular" addressbook, which I used
to be able to (I have two different at present). Not many weeks ago that
worked. LDAP addressbooks I have just recently tried to add, but that have
never worked for me.

Here is the sanatized output from CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution > evolution.log
As you can see, nothing there, I went through the same process of trying to
create a address book. The "OK" control if forever grayed out, and never comes
alive in the whole process.

Thanks for your bug report. This looks similar to bug 39219 (even if there's no
LDAP involved there). Can you run evolution in a terminal and paste the output
here? If that information is too sparse, it'd be nice to run
CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution > evolution.log
and attach evolution.log here.
