Yes the index issue is ALSO bug #39456. But multiple fixes are necessar in
order to get doc-indexing running. Please read all reports I've referenced in
this report.

I can confirm that this is still an issue with yelp 2.14.1-0ubuntu1 and beagle
0.2.4-0ubuntu1.
If beagled is running when yelp is started, yelp uses the beagle search
backend. According to its logs, Beagle receives the query but doesn't find
anything. If beagled isn't running, yelp uses its def
Thanks for your bug. We will have a look on that before dapper. Not a really
issue anyway because beagle is not a part of the default installation
