manager Evince is stiil opening the ODT files, instead of
Libreoffice!!!???

I can't reproduce the problem here (I tried saving the file to the
desktop and it wants to open with OOo and trying to load it directly
from the web again suggests OOo). Has OOo been uninstalled? Is your
dapper install up to date?

I created the attached file in OpenOffice and it gets exactly the same error
message. In fact, ALL .odt files get this error message. Is evince even
