backtrace for evince?
I didn't understand from your report whether this is happens with all
PDFs. Can you please attach one with which we can reproduce it?

Which version of Ubuntu and evince do you use? Which file did you try to
view. Can you hit the "Inform Developers" button, when it pops up and
copy the backtrace in here?
