I can reproduce this bug as well.
I am fairly certain I am not double clicking on a tab, but sometimes the
tab is detached when I click on it & it is not the active tab. Since I
use a script to setup a multi-tab terminal, the last thing I want is to
detach one, as there is no way to un-detach a ta
It always happens to my last tab on the right, so possibly it is
thinking that I am dragging the tab to the right & therefore outside the
terminal.
If that is the case, I would love a way to disable that feature (drag to
detach), or add a feature to merge the tab back in.
