Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
the gnome-settings-daemon update (2.27.3-0ubuntu2) disabled these touchpad functions: - no tap clicking - no vertical/horizontal scrolling Other people have the same problem: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1221888 Touchpad settings in xorg.conf or via HAL don't fix the problem.
