Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth
I am on a completely updated Karmic. I have the cell phone mentioned in the subject and I have paired it successfully using gnome-bluetooth. I click on the Bluetooth icon in the tray and choose "HTC_P3650" and in the submenu "Browse files ...". Then a Nautilus window pops ub with the directory of the cell phone's file system. I can navigate through the subdirectories, but I cannot open a file (I tried with a JPG picture which I have shot with the phone). eog opens and says "Could not load image 'IMAG0004.jpg'. Error in stream protocol: End of stream." In addition, the Nautilus window does not show thumbnails of the pictures. ** Affects: gnome-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-vfs-obexftp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: libopenobex (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: obex-data-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: obexd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: obexd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: obex-data-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gnome-vfs-obexftp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: libopenobex (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot browse files on HTC P3650 (Windows Mobile) cell phone via Bluetooth https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409453 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-vfs-obexftp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
