Binary package hint: brasero

I am running Karmic on a 64 bits Acer Aspire AWXMi. When I try to burn a .toc 
file to an empty disc I can select the .toc file , but brasero says there is no 
empty disc in the tray. I have tryed to re-insert the empty disc, but brasero 
keeps telling me there is not empty disc in the tray.
Karmic does recognise the cd because it is being mounted as an empty disc on 
the desktop.
