I can confirm this for my system. I don't have a floppy unit, but my cdrw is always in my sidebar. CD automounting and ejecting works fine as usual. The fstab for my cd looks like this: /dev/hdc/media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0 It was probably inserted by the breezy

It seems that the new nautilus version lists all drives on the system, regardless whether they are mounted or not. Floppies and CD-ROMS are one example. This gets especially annoying in cases like internal card readers, where all units are shown in "Places" even if they are not mounted and not

If this is an issue with nautilus, should it be sent upstream. I use breezy but I find the listing of unmounted filesystems in the sidebar ridiculous. The default behavior of gnome is this: If a cd is inserted, camera plugged in, etc, the volume gets mounted automatically and a dialog pops up a
