This is no sense for me. If I close the sidebar, stay closed, if last
time was opened, keep it open.
No one knows better if someone is going to add video/audio to sidebar
than the final user, suppose what it' going to happen after double
clicking a video/audio file is pure magic.

Personally I think that this bug would be best solved by having a proper
media library manager as part of the Ubuntu desktop. Banshee does video
and audio, and maintains a library so that this issue effectively
becomes moot, doesn't it?
