Public bug reported: Reproducable under (at least) Ubuntu 8.04 i386 / 9.04 AMD64
Steps to reproduce: 1) Launch epiphany-browser 2) Log onto Facebook 3) Attempt to update your status. Use an apostraphe ('). Watch the "Find Text" bar pop up instead of typing an apostraphe. Not sure what kind of code is driving Facebook text input boxes but Epiphany should recognize it. I'm sure this is the same for any other hotkey as well. ---- $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 ---- $ apt-cache policy epiphany-browser epiphany-browser: Installed: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ---- ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Typing hotkeys in Facebook textboxes not recognized as text input https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/433276 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to epiphany-browser in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
