Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I usually have Rhythmbox's volume set quite low, such as 10%, so I can hear other applications over it. When playing a song for the first time after Rhythmbox is started, the song will play very loud for a second, at 100% Rhythmbox volume, before reducing to the proper setting. Steps to reproduce: 0) Start Rhythmbox 1) Set Rhythmbox volume to a low level (0-10%) 2) Play a song What should happen: Rhythmbox starts playing the song at the correct low volume What actually happens: Rhythmbox blasts at 100% volume for about a second, before reducing to the correct low volume ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Sep 20 16:05:07 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: rhythmbox 0.12.5-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-10.34-generic SourcePackage: rhythmbox Uname: Linux 2.6.31-10-generic x86_64 ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- volume 100% for first second of play https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/433380 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
