[Bug 434739] Re: Slow speed sound in Rhythmbox

2009-09-23 Thread Michael Fox
The bug appears to have been resolved with the latest upgrades available this morning. Music played at normal speed on rhythmbox in my VirtualBox vm. I took it a step farther and installed pulseaudio again, and everything was working as it should. -- Slow speed sound in Rhythmbox

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME) ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low ** Changed in:

I don't know if I'm the only one who has experienced this issue, but there are a number of postings in the Ubuntu development forum about sound problems in 9.10 alpha. I'm curious why you think this belongs with Gnome? Could the problem not be with another sound module, or even with VirtualBox,

the issue is probably not a rhythmbox one but that's where you opened the bug and I've no idea what is wrong neither I got the issue but maybe upstream will have an idea about it though, did you try playing files with totem or other softwares or out of vmware? -- Slow speed sound in Rhythmbox
