Yes, the upstream gnome-screensaver project has changed the lock screen
theme format. Unfortunately, this is progress, and older themes may need
to be converted.
I am closing this bug as there is no further action we can take.

Sorry about the delay.
In Lucid the problem persist.
Opening the themes in glade and then saving them in gtkbuilder .ui
format is making the lockscreen nonresponsive.
