Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
In Karmic, using the 'Display' to setup the dual head monitor setting result in the virtual resolution not being set properly. Step to reproduce: 1- Start gnome-display-properties 2- Enable two monitors with mirroring. -1920x1080 + 1400x1050 3- Click OK 4- A message box ask me if I want to change the virtual screen resolution. 5- I Answer 'Yes' 6- I logout and login 7- Looking at xorg.org file the tool have set the virtual resolution to 2048 x 2048 ***The value use for the virtual resolution are the maximum resolution for 3D support of my graphic card.
