To be more precise this helps " rm /home/$USER/.thumbnails/normal/* "
but after I go back and then forward, it dosent seem to list the .avi
files. I have to remove the files from normal.
I dont know if it make any difference but I am using RAID1 on the HOME
folder.

I confirm this. Something todo with the thumbnails... I removed files
from ".thumbnails" and it started working just fine.
