I have the same problem with firefox and flash.
I think the eclipse thing is another bug. Is there any solution for firefox ?
I've tested the repository version and firefox 4 beta 4, and both had the same
behaviour.
It's like the mouseMove event came to the plugin, but not the mouseClick event.
I'm on a 64bit architecture, and chromium do not have the same plugin, so i'm
thinking about a firefox problem.

I see it in debian squeeze too. And the fix of export
GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=true works like a charm.

I have the same problems as these guys, although I notice that while I
click the button and it remains clicked (as the computer seems to
think I have not released the mouse button) I can press spacebar and it
will respond to the click.
I am mostly noticing this in Eclipse / Android SDK as well.
Sorry for the double post, but I feel I should mention this occurs both
on my custom-built desktop and on my Dell Mini 9 netbook, both running
Karmic.

This appears to fix my problems too. When did this break? It's been
working on Karmic before, I've only just noticed today in Eclipse that
buttons couldn't be pressed and some lists were invisible (looked empty,
but when you clicked it, you could hit checkmarks)

I actually first noticed this during the betas of Karmic, so it's been
here for quite some time.

Seems to work for me also. All buttons were working for me except ones
labled Install or Finish. Was having the issue in Eclipse and the
Android SDK installer.

A solution for the problem described in this bug is presented at
bugs.eclipse.org. I'll quote Bogdan Gheorghe:
Set the following env var in a terminal shell:
export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=true
and then start eclipse from that terminal shell and see if that helps things
This worked for me.

Same problem here. Concerning the Eclipse issue there is also a bug at
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=290395. I also had this
problem with flash so it is probably not a Java/Eclipse/SWT-only issue.

Same problem here with some buttons in Eclipse (update manager).
The only solution is to use the keyboard navigation and enter to push
such buttons.

Ok... It's working with the libswt-gtk shipped and installed with the
distributor. Tested with Eclipse 3.5.1 and libswt-gtk-3.5-java (3.5.1
Ubuntu Karmic) and libswt-gtk-3.5-jni (3.5.1 Ubuntu Karmic).
