What ftp server do you use? How do you count the sessions? Do you get a
different behaviour from the server if you use gftp as client?

Hi Sebastien,
this issue was verified with an Ubuntu Dapper system. The problem is
that one exactly: I can see that multiple connections are opened to the
FTP server and none are closed.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? What do you mean
by None of these connections ever get closed.? After the copy they are
still open?
