Sorry; Launchpad ate my comment.
Turns out that I put the GST* messages on separate lines; I didn't
realize that they should be prefixes to the totem command. Sorry. It
worked now, though it generated 400+ MB of text in ~5m. Sorry about the
file size.
Basically the same thing happened; the stream

First, not sure why totem --debug doesn't create any debug text...
that's probably another bug.
But, thanks, Pedro... I followed your instructions precisely. I get the
same problem (stream stops after ~ 9m) and this is the contents of
"log.txt":
** Message: no file info
That's it.

totem debug is not going to show you more than that, you need to get a
gstreamer based debug there, just run totem as: GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1
GST_DEBUG=*:5 totem 2> log.txt ; Then compress that resulting file and
attach it to the report, thanks in advance.
