Is there anyway the Remote Desktop viewer can give you feedback about
what you are experiencing?
I'm trying to connect to an desktop computer running Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop
32bit on my LAN.
I'm trying to connect from my laptop running Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop 64bit.
I've setup the host machine to accept
One other thing, my laptop is connecting via a wireless router that
issues it a ip via dhcp.
The desktop I'm connecting to is plugged in via a cat5 cable.
So one is on 192.168.1.? and the other is 192.168.2.?
Is this a problem? I can ssh at that machine from here.
BTW, because of firewalls and
I finally got it working, but this should still be considered a
usability bug. During a black screen there should be some feedback as to
what the viewer is currently experiencing while it tries to connect.
Full screen mode is so big that is cuts off the bottom panel btw

Scaling should be turned on by default! Why offer Who is going to
want full-screen without scaling?
