I can't reproduce this with alacarte 0.8-0ubuntu12. I suspect one
of Eric's libraries is not up to date.

This happens to me when I try to use the 'Create Launcher' option on the
desktop. I think a few people have noticed this on the Ubuntu forums.
I noticed the following behaviors of the dialogue:
When I start typing anything with a '/' at the beginning, after the second
character the box
