I tried to reproduce this bug on another computer running ubuntu 9.04
and nautilus 2.26.2
There, folders are never shown as open. This removes the inconsistency,
but is less user friendly (users can no longer see that the folder is
already open).

Bernard, the reports are tested on the latest stable release of GNOME
before sending those upstream, meaning GNOME 2.28.X and i can confirm
the issue there, that's why I've set the version to the latest stable
one, hope that makes sense to you, Thanks.

Note that it occurred in this nautilus version: 2.22.5.1-0ubuntu3, and
not in 2.28.x as you reported on the bugzilla of gnome.
