I was having the same problem with a Zen Mozaic and I simply checked the Use Crossfading option under EditPreferencesPlayback then restarted Rythembox and it worked fine. Not sure if this is a permanent fix or not but I have listened to 3 songs from beginning to end with no issues. Another
