Are you using the hardware drivers for this system? Please run
sudo lspci -vvnn lspci-vvnn.log
in a terminal and attach the lspci-vvnn.log to this report. This may be
a video driver issue instead of gnome-power-manager issue. Thanks in

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on
Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with

There is still an issue under 10.04 x64.
I have not a 10.10 installation in this laptop, however I just tested
suspension with the 10.10 x64 Live DVD, and it did not come back from
suspension OK (only the mouse pointer was visible, and switching among
consoles was working, and I rebooted from a
