Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
When I create a new latex document on gedit, the symbols on the Symbol Side Pane disappear, i.e. the Symbol Side Pane is empty. A workaround to solve the problem is to delete the GeditLaTeXPlugin folder from ~user/.gnome2/gedit/plugins. That makes the symbols re- appear until next time I create a new latex document.
