Seb, this is very true. I never found the welcome message very useful. I
was simply thinking of issues that may arise due to this change
(backwards compatibility, issues with upstream etc.). If this feature is
not wanted by our developers, why mark it as Wishlist? Can we confirm
that a consensus
the option seems one which add clutter to the dialog and should not be
added back
