Thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though, you probably
pressed the r key while the menu item was selected and you have the
option to edit menu shortcut activated which is not on by default in
ubuntu

Well, after going almost nuts on this one, I just saw that in fact the cause of
this "bug" is due to a bad keyboard shortcut.
I never changed it never edited option in Evolution. the "send" shortcut was
changed to the letter "R"
Editing now files in : /usr/share/evolution/2.28/ui where short
