Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
In the latest version of the relevant packages in Ubuntu (as made available by the default update servers), icons do not render past a certain number of rows when viewing a folder. The best example is: /usr/lib . Scroll down to the bottom of the files, and observe that the icon names are not rendering. Also, if you select an icon you can occasionally see artifacts. (See screenshot) This makes folder management extremely difficult. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed ** Attachment added: "Nautilus Screenshot" http://librarian.launchpad.net/3153439/Screenshot-lib%20-%20File%20Browser.png -- Icon Rendering in folders with a large number of files https://launchpad.net/bugs/50979 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
