Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy
I am using Ubuntu Karmic. When I first opened Empathy, it asked me if I wanted to import my (quite extensive) buddy list from Gaim. I said yes. It didn't seem to do anything. When I opened it again, I think it asked the same question, I again said yes and nothing seemed to happen. Now it no longer asks the question and I don't have any accounts set up. Please let me know what more I can give you.
