Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
All my account information is correct [ mail.comcast.net / smtp.comcast.net ] and I can receive mail from my ISP server, but I cannot send any out within Evolution. If I open my web browser and use, ex. Yahoo, I can send my mail. What is the problem. There seems to be no way to check the pop ports for outgoing. I am using the latest release of Ubuntu ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Feb 28 19:36:59 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) Package: evolution 2.28.1-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-19.56-generic-pae SourcePackage: evolution Uname: Linux 2.6.31-19-generic-pae i686 XsessionErrors: (gnome-settings-daemon:1776): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_propagate_error: assertion `src != NULL' failed (nautilus:1809): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:1844): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (gnome-panel:1806): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to allocate widget with width -5 and height 24 ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- unable to send messages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/529774 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
