invalid as a paper cuts, see previous comment, (furthermore the patch is
not specifying the right key). I tried also to see if we can specify a

As Martin said, this isn't really a window manager function. The current
key combination is handled by the media-keys plugin in gnome-settings-
daemon, so it would need to be changed there if you wanted a new binding

I think we should not hastily change this shortcut, based on what Martin
says. It's also unnecessary optimization, because locking your screen incurs
such a time penalty that the relative complexity of Ctrl-Alt-L is
negligible.

Hm, what about systems which don't have a Super key?
Also, activating the screen saver lock is not really a window manager
function. There are other keybindings like Ctrl+Alt+Del which also use
Ctrl+Alt, and I figure quite a lot of users got used to it by now?
