Yes. I will make this a wish list item. I'd like Ubuntu to copy the
behavior of Mac OSX and Win 7.
wishlist: If you boot to your computer to the desktop without a
password, any connections to wi-fi hot spots that previously worked,
should remain working, all without any dialogs or password
