I tried my best to include an example. the example is an email that has
a small pdf as attachment.
the zip file contains:

I just noticed that Mozilla Thunderbird shows a different source for the
same email. the last line of the header (X-Evolution-Source) has been
added by evolution.
Also, the second MIME part looks like this:
