Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

A new string has been added to gdmsetup due to new functionality.

This will allow users to choose whether they want to enable or disable
the login sound when starting Ubuntu. Since this is about adding new
functionality, I believe it qualifies for a string freeze exception.

The new stiring is: "Play login sound" and will be available at
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/gdm for
translation

This bug is simply to record the change and that the translation and
documentation teams have been notified as per
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess#UserInterfaceFreeze%20Exceptions
