What type of ipod do you have? AFAIK the ipod touch and iphone are not
supported out of the box.

Not to be some what of a nag but my Ipod Video is just old and no longer
works, I was able to see the songs but not add them in either Rythmbox
or iTunes, Can you confirm that it still works in iTunes as well if you
are able to?
