I would like to add that the power indicator intermittently (more often than not, actually) insist that I am on AC power, as if I am on a desktop machine, rather than a laptop. FYI: Now, with a fully charged battery, when unplugging the AC power cable, the indicator applet remains silent and does not inform me that the battery is discharging (like it used to do a few days ago); it only statically displays the message that the "Laptop battery is charged". On a side note,
