Tested with a guest account, and the test file was thumbnailed and read correctly there. Below is gvfs-info on the file for the user that fails (nearly identical with the output on a successful system, so I doubt that there is anything useful there): t...@tyle-desktop:~/Desktop$ gvfs-info test.cb
