Same problem for me, with Ubuntu 10.04 with a French layout, and the evdev driver for the logitech G11. Bug is present with automatic login, but if i logout/login, it works fine. May I ask to increase a bit the importance of this bug ? With a french "azerty" keyboard there are a lot of important

same bug here, with Ubuntu 10.04 and and a serial "techsolo" keyboard. I use german-german layout. xev gives the same output for "AltGr" as in #1. The bug appears only if i us automatic login. So gnome-settings-daemon seems to behave different for automatic login towards login via gdm. -- altgr
