I found this same bug with gnome-sudoku 2.22.3 on Debian lenny. When
logged into Gnome desktop, creating notes with the keyboard works fine.
However, when logged into KDE, pressing 'n' brings up notes, but the
text box must be clicked with the mouse to enter anything.

Yes - right: It only happened with LXDE.
I can't see if it happens on Lucid, too, because I didn't yet upgrade ( I want
to buy a new PC, therefore I wait with upgrade).

so this only happens on LXDE not with metacity or compiz right? could
you see if that's still an issue on Lucid or Maverick? probably a window
manager issue.
