The original file now plays in Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" beta
updated to libtotem-plparser17 2.30.3-0ubuntu1. It is no longer
necessary to change the filename extension. From the changelog:
- Fix parsing of files hiding as MP4 files (eg. an FLV with an MP4
extension)
** Changed in: gstrea
I looked inside this file with a text editor. At the beginning I
noticed the following:
FLV
onMetaData
bytelength
sourcedata
httphostheader
So I changed the filename extension from .MP4 to .FLV. Now Totem plays
this file without a problem.
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a bug or not.
PS: L
I can reproduce this on lucid.
** Changed in: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu)
