I`m running Lucid Lynx on hp6735b laptop. Can`t adjust screen brightness

In my opinion this bug should be set to Fix released, and a new one should be
reported for the netbook issue, because something has been fixed (brightness
adjustment works on Maverick for the computer you've reported this bug for, and

Yes, the bug has been fixed for my hp6735b.
But recently I discovered that it affects Intel graphic cards used in
netbooks. For example, one can`t adjust brightness on Samsung N210.
Shall I start a new bug for that or post the "apport" output here?
